A Hello video: jammin with my homie richard
Hey all,
Whats up? Im so excited to be a part of the home of fans. This is wicked. Thanks Rem for getting this all set up for us. WooHoo!
My fan play has been sort of on the back seat for the past few weeks as I have been getting into poi a bit more. But there are some fan projects in the works. I wanna share two things in particular. The first, is learning moves in many different fan shapes. Like isolating the wick curve right next to eachother and then doing that same thing with the fans overlaping. This can also be done further apart and so on. The second project is maping the fans: combining isolation, extension and the various orientations to create a hybrid chart that includes the timing and direction. Lorq, a vulcanite from oregon has started this. He just mapped a bunch of club and poi patterns and after a mini jam sesh he and I had, he started to go wild. I'll keep everyone posted on what we find!!! Coments, thoughts and Ideas totally welcome!!!!!!!
So, here is a little hello fire vid. My friend Richard Hartnell, a contact juggler and DJ was spinning the beats and I was spinning the fans. We had a great time!!!

I've checked out this movie
I've checked out this movie and many things can be discussed.
At first, I think, that the most great idea is 2 petal anti-spin flowers. I mean 3.32 & 2.29
Moreover I really do believe that it is possible to find out a lot of new tricks with "perpendicular plane geometry", I mean things that you're doing from 2.05. I have done some inventions in that field, but unfortunately I don't have my fans here in Lyon to make a video.
In generally, I suppose that geometry with fans could be more interesting then geometry with double staffs or poi, because it's not just the geometry of 2 lines but also the geometry of semicircles.
It's a nice stuffs with combinations of chuu-chuu and isolations and also there are many ideas and things witch are hard to explain in English
