which are the most reliable fans?

Hi, my fans got destroyed because I practiced throwing them, so I would like to buy a new pair- more reliable one.
I have a couple of questions about the different types of big ringed fans. Why do some of them have this second half circle around the middle one? For throwing, is it better to have the circle lower than the last spikes or higher or in between?
I'm really small, so I need 27-28 cm long spikes, so that they can fit between my arms. I'm not sure if I should get fans with 5 or 6 spikes- mine were with 5, so 6 might be too close with this long spikes- but they look better. Any ideas?

Well, I'd recommend to make
Well, I'd recommend to make the handle like that, because it helps to make rolls, while for throwing it is all the same I believe.
As for the number of spokes, I'd say that it is the angle that matters, not the number. The angle between the two extreme spokes should be 125-130 degrees or so (clearly not 100 and not 180), how many spokes you wish to place between them doesn't really matter, it will just change the weight, 5 or 6 look quite similar.
Check the comments of this post. There is a draw of two constructions with all the dimensions and the one at the right may be just what you need.
In general, I tried many different fans from various stores, and I may tell you that there unfortunately are no unbreakable fans, they all break sooner or later, especially when you throw them a lot, so it's perfectly normal .
